History
1948
The Aktobe Regional Institute for the Improvement of Teachers was established
1969
The 17th Republican Pedagogical Readings were successfully held, attended by the Minister of Education D.S. Sembayev and the scholar, Doctor of Philology K. Tursunov
1996-1997
The Institute for the Improvement of Teachers was reorganized into an Institute for Advanced Training.
According to the order of the Regional Department of Education, the Institute for Advanced Training was dissolved and reorganized as the Department of Advanced Training at K. Zhubanov University
1999
Renamed the Aktobe Regional Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel
2012
The Institute was reorganized into a Branch of the Joint Stock Company “National Center for Professional Development ‘Orleu’” – “Institute for Advanced Training of Teaching Staff of Aktobe Region.”
2015-2017
The regional journal “Әдіскер жаршысы” was published under the Institute. A regional pedagogical museum was established at the Institute. The republican journal “Pedagogıkalyq damý” was published under the Institute
