1951

The West Kazakhstan Regional Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers was established

1953

The first Regional Pedagogical Readings were held

1978

A Republican Seminar on the Kazakh Language and Literature was conducted

1998

The scientific and methodological journal “Ustaz” was launched by the Institute

1999

 The West Kazakhstan Regional Institute for Advanced Training was renamed the West Kazakhstan Regional Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Pedagogical Personnel

2000

The Republican competition “Best Teacher of the Year” was held in Uralsk

 

2001

The Regional Pedagogical Museum was established at the Institute

 

2002

The informational and methodological newspaper “Zhaiyq Ustazy” was launched by the Institute

2002

The Republican School Olympiad was held in Uralsk.

2012

The Institute was reorganized into a branch of JSC “National Center for Professional Development “Orleu” — “Institute for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers of the West Kazakhstan Region.”
