An integrated digital environment, "Digital ORLEU", has been developed, which includes the "Beles" LMS platform, PPI Platform, Career Portal, Orleu ID, and MOOCs. More than 259,000 active users, over 3.5 million visits per year
Leadership in Kazakhstan’s teacher professional development system. International accreditation by ACQUIN. Accreditation of 12 educational programs by IAAR. Proactive participation in international professional networks ISTE and IPDA
“Orleu” is a platform for developing scientific ideas, pedagogical innovations and the research potential of teachers in Kazakhstan. In 2025, 15 research projects were implemented in the areas of pedagogical leadership, digitalization and inclusion were realized. More than 300 scientific articles by staff members were published in peer-reviewed international and national journals. The journal “Өрлеу. Үздіксіз білім жаршысы – Өрлеу. Вести непрерывного образования” features relevant research and methodological approaches, pedagogical innovations, best teaching and learning practices, and expert solutions for continuous professional growth of teachers

1948
Establishment of professional development institutes
The first professional development institutes were opened in the East Kazakhstan, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Guryev (now Atyrau), Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, and South Kazakhstan (now Shymkent city and Turkestan Region) regions, as well as in the city of Alma-Ata (now Almaty)

Transformation of JSC “National Center for Professional Development “Orleu”
By the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the RSCE “Republican Institute for Advanced Training of Managerial and Scientific-Pedagogical Personnel of the Education System” and regional institutes for advanced training were merged to form JSC “National Center for Professional Development ‘Orleu’” with one hundred percent state ownership of the authorized capital

Senior teacher of «Örleu-NKR» Assel Jaxalykova successfully completed the international CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) program, receiving a high result – Pass B.
From June 15 to July 10, she completed 120 academic hours of full-time training in Kokshetau with the official provider of the course STUDY INN QAZAQSTAN. The training was conducted by international trainers – Brendan McEvoy (London, England) and Anna Tonkikh (Novosibirsk, Russia). Orleu is a national center shaping a modern system of continuous professional development for teachers in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
