THE SOCIAL ACTIVITY OF A MODERN TEENAGER IN AMULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT

This article explores the specifics of social activity among modern adolescents in the multicultural environment ofKazakhstan. The relevance of the study is driven by the need to foster civic identity and interethnic tolerance amongyouth. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical research, the author concludes that a multicultural environmentpositively influences the development of motivation for social participation among adolescents. The paper outlinesthe forms of social activity, examines the primary motives for participation, and analyzes how the ethnoculturalcontext shapes social engagement. The findings have both theoretical and practical value and may be applied in thedevelopment of civic and patriotic education programs for adolescents
