COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF TEXTS
Abstract
This article examines the methods of conducting comparative text analysis. Comparative analysis makes it possibleto identify the content of a text, its structure, linguistic features, the author’s position, as well as stylistic and genrecharacteristics. Comparing texts is considered an effective tool for developing students’ functional reading literacy,critical thinking, and analytical skills.
