The role of folk pedagogy in the formation of interest and a healthy lifestyle in physical education classes for preschool children

The article suggests a variant of using the means of folk pedagogy in the process of forming interest in physical culture and instilling the basics of a healthy lifestyle in preschool children. The author focuses on the innovation of folk traditions, games, songs and rituals as tools to increase motivation and emotional involvement of children in physical activity. It is emphasized that the integration of elements of folk pedagogy into Physical education contributes not only to the development of physical qualities, but also to the formation of children’s interest in a healthy lifestyle, as well as the manifestation of national identity and cultural values. The practical ingenuity of the article lies in the presentation of recommendations for teachers of preschool educational institutions on the effective implementation of folk pedagogical tools in the educational process.
