CONTRASTIVE ANALYSIS IN SCHOOL PRACTICE: LANGUAGE AS A TOOL FOR DEVELOPING RESEARCH SKILLS IN BILINGUAL STUDENTS

The article examines the impact of contrastive analysis of Russian and Kazakh languages on the development of lexical competence and research skills in bilingual students. The analysis was conducted using the lexical group “Large domestic animals,” identifying translation equivalents and gaps. The study demonstrated that the application of contrastive analysis contributes to deepening linguistic reflection, enhancing analytical thinking, and expanding vocabulary, which positively affects the quality of bilingual education.
