INTRODUCING THE WORKS OF YBYRAI ALTYNSARIN THROUGH INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

This article examines the methods and experience of using information and communication technologies (ICT) to introduce school students to the works of Ybyrai Altynsarin.Main issue: developing students’ creative and research skills through presenting the legacy of the prominent Kazakh educator Y. Altynsarin in a modern format.Purpose of the work: during practical activities with students, multimedia products (an animated film and a comic) were created, which enhanced their interest in literature and improved their digital literacy.Research methods: during the preparation of the work, a survey was conducted among school students, and the stages of the scientific project, the ICT tools used, and the results obtained were analyzed.Main results: during the project, students gained a deeper understanding of Ybyrai Altynsarin’s works through modern technologies, and their interest in literature increased significantly. The use of ICT contributed to the development of digital literacy, creativity, and research skills.Conclusion:introducing Ybyrai Altynsarin’s works through ICT proved to be an effective and innovative method of teaching that increases students’ engagement and improves the quality of national literature education.
