PRESERVATION OF NATIONAL VALUES AND DEVELOPMENT OF FUNCTIONAL LITERACY, THE DUALITY OF EDUCATION IN CONTEMPORARY PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN KAZAKHSTAN

The article discusses the pressing issues of educating primary school children in Kazakhstan in the context of updated educational content. It analyzes the balance between the development of functional literacy (skills, competencies) and the transmission of cultural and moral values. The author presents data from personal observations on the impact of digitalization on children’s play culture and offers practical recommendations for organizing educational work based on the works of L.V. Zankov and modern Kazakhstani educators.
